New Media Fest 2011 Phoenix Christian Film Festival recently released their nominations for this year’s awards. And among the list of nominations for the Best Music Video is the previously released single, ‘I Can Finally Breathe’ by Urban Contemporary Hip Hop group, The S.O.G. Crew! Filmed by Checkmate Films and directed by Jared Lundy. The video features actor, Noel G (Training Day, Bruce Almighty, the Fast and the Furious), as the drug dealing gangster and best friend of the main star, 18-year old ‘Lil’ Battle Ax’ (Robert Ornelas Jr.). The story takes you through the life of Lil’ Battle Ax as he turns from a life gone bad. ‘I Can Finally Breathe’ is off the group’s recently released album ‘Where Legends Are Born,’ distributed by Universal Christian Music Group/EMG and Whirlwind Music Entertainment.
