THE S.O.G. CREW ATTACK YOUTH EPIDEMIC IN CROW TRIBE MONTANA

August 10, 2011, Anaheim, CA – Dr. Robert Ornelas, Top Advisor of Youth Development for the Republic of Burundi Africa, was called in this past week by an organization, Fire of God Outreach, to visit with the Crow Nation youth. Dr. Ornelas and members of the tribe sat with the Tribal Council to discuss the issues at hand within the community concerning the youth, water sanitation, drug use, alcohol abuse, and survival of the culture. During his and his team’s two day stay, The S.O.G. Crew and Fire of God Outreach hosted a successful event in the city park complete with food, raffled items, music, and dance contests! Both the young and the adults came out with their lawn chairs, skateboards, and dancing shoes to enjoy the evenings! Words of encouragement towards the youth and their family members to join together and believe in love for one another came from the speakers as Dr. Ornelas spoke on the microphone both nights. Many confessed, poured their hearts out and joined hands in prayer together for each other’s families. Although the reservation authorities have placed a ban on the sale and use of alcohol, several have made their way off the reservation to intoxicate themselves only to return and suffer injuries from a car crash or train wreck at their own demise. Efforts by the Tribal Council and organizations such as; Fire of God, The S.O.G. Crew, and the community, to encourage both youth and adults to understand the consequences of their choices have been the priority of late. Dr. Ornelas with his team, The S.O.G. Crew, will be returning to the Crow Nation later this month to continue the intervention process with the people. Please keep the mission in your prayers along with the families involved. New Media Fest 2011 Phoenix Christian Film Festival recently released their nominations for this year’s awards. And among the list of nominations for the Best Music Video is the previously released single, ‘I Can Finally Breathe’ by Urban Contemporary Hip Hop group, The S.O.G. Crew! Elite TV World News: BURUNDI FIRST LADY ORDAINED AS A MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

In Bujumbura, Burundi Africa on July 2, 2011 Her Excellency, Mrs. Denise Nkurunziza Bucumi, was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rev. Bishop Dr. Arthur Kitonga a Kenyan preacher and renowned leader of the Redeemed Gospel Church officiated. The pastoral ordination of the First Lady of Burundi is the first of it’s kind in the country and all over the world. The service was held in the gardens of the Royal Palm Resort located on Lake Tanganyika. Several high-ranking authorities and distinguished guests from abroad were in attendance, including the Queen of Swaziland, Her Royal Highness NOMSA Matsebula. There were clergymen from Tanzania, Rwanda, D.R. Congo, Kenya, South Africa, Sweden and Canada in attendance as well. Burundi Head of State, H. E. Pierre Nkurunziza, in his congratulatory message to His spouse, expressed His delight to see the First Lady “chosen by the Almighty to proclaim the Good News.” President Nkurunziza went on to say He would never oppose the mission of the Lord. He instead urged the First Lady to preach the Word of God to the confines of the earth, as Jesus Christ advised his disciples. The Father of the Nation took the opportunity to provide advice to His countrymen and women. He preached love and obedience to families and throughout the country recommended following the Holy Scriptures. H. E. Nkurunziza is quoted saying, “Indeed the Bible requires women to obey their husbands, children to obey their parents and husbands to love their wives.” The President also urged the Highest Assembly to be wise, according to the biblical Proverbs in chapter 24, verses 3-5, so as to live harmoniously in their respective families.

Dr. Clyde Rivers, Honorary Ambassador at large for the Republic of Burundi said, “This is a great day for the Republic of Burundi, the continent of Africa and the Kingdom of God. This is the new Burundi.”
