Elite TV World News: Former Mayors of Kenya Promote New Education Technology

The Former Mayor of Nairobi and Chairman of Former Mayors Association, Intl., Prof. Nathan Kahara, along with Chief Chancellor of United Graduate College and Seminary and Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi, Dr. Clyde Rivers are joining forces to bring awareness about on-line education to the country of Kenya. They are pushing to help bring Africa into modern technology systems that are running the world because of on-line access to the global markets. Dr. Rivers says, “Bringing change is very difficult when ancient systems are in place.”
Africa is experiencing a time of great exposure as other parts of the world recognize that it has the greatest natural resources in the world. If Africa doesn’t learn how to compete with the global markets, they will remain living in poverty circumstances while others come and profit. Education is the vehicle to shaping culture and society so systems of education must move forward with the technology age to keep competitive with current global trends. “Many feel like this task is too overwhelming, but you have to start somewhere to make a difference. Everything starts with an idea and a step forward. This is the new Africa.”
