They have come back to the Whiskey a GoGo! Elite TV caught a very special show, two legends in one night. Kurtis Blow, the first rapper to ever sign with a major label. His single “The Breaks” is the first certified gold record rap song. And Mellow Man Ace, the god father of Latin hip-hop, the first Latin rap artist to reach Gold and Platinum sales in the U.S. and Latin America. Kurtis Blow had taken the crowd back to that old school sound. This 51 year old artist pulled out all the stops popping and breaking. He put on quite a performance. Mellow Man Ace and his crew hit the stage and performed his best known hit “Mentirosa” and attacked the audience with new music from his latest album “Restoring Order”. This was with out a doubt another night to go down in history for hip-hop.
